Living in: Puerto Banús

Situated at the western entrance to the famous Golden Mile, a tree-lined avenue that leads from here into the centre of Marbella town, Puerto Banús is a glamorous marina that first opened in 1970. Since then, it has become one of the luxury hotspots of the Costa del Sol.

Luxurious yachts line the berths, surrounded on three sides by top brand boutiques, jewellers, restaurants and nightclubs. If Puerto Banús is a leisure destination, then it is also a top shopping district, with luxury brands and a large El Corte Inglés department store where you can find everything from fashion, jewellery and cosmetics to furniture, appliances and also an excellent gourmet club with products from around the world.

The port area itself is dominated by stylish apartments and penthouses set within private, gated communities with lush gardens and fantastic sea views. Many feature concierge receptions, private gyms and spas, while the west side of Puerto Banús is also home to a small collection of villas on tranquil, leafy streets.
